Week 280: KINDNESS

It's time for the last cue word of 2017!  Can you believe another year is coming to a close?!  Let's finish it off with a little kindness both in the gallery and in visiting each other's blogs, being intentional about leaving a little blog love!  This will be a two-week challenge this time because we know how full these last two weeks of the year can be!  Enjoy your family time and we'll be back in January to kick off the new year!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

STAMPlorations is returning as our wonderful sponsor and is offering this challenge's winner a $15 gift certificate to the online store!  Remember, during the weeks STAMPlorations is sponsoring us, you can refresh your craft stash with the help of the 10% off discount code, CASOLOGY!

Let's see what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Bharati
design defined:
A bit of dimension, glitter & gloss make a CAS card extra beautiful against the white space.

Anna
design defined:
A touch of gold can never be wrong.

design defined:
Confining your design to one third of the card front is a classic CAS technique.

Janet
design defined:
Plenty of white space with a pop of one colour is classic CAS.

Jen

design defined:
A pop of vibrant color in one area adds interest to a CAS design.

Joyce

design defined:
Stamp your images running off the side of the card to create a sense of flow.

Judy
design defined:
Masking and inking provides a base for images on a one-layer CAS card.

design defined:
Monochromatic color schemes are perfect for CAS designs.

Rachel
design defined:
Monochromatic keeps things CAS!

design defined:
Cluster elements together to preserve white space.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday, January 1, at NOON (CST)!
